When residing or buying an apartment or house in a gated community in Panama, they usually come with access to certain amenities that you can enjoy.

In most of the new projects that are offered in Panama, there are various amenities that mainly supports the lifestyle of residents.

Such amenities offered today vary depending on the lifestyle that the project promotes, current trends, location, and the profile of the desired buyer.

Of course, all the activities that are offered in the community or in the building where you live have their expenses, which generally go into the monthly cost of maintenance or HOA.

Therefore, the more alternatives you have, the higher the monthly maintenance cost for each resident.

Here are some of the most popular amenities offered when buying a new property in Panama:

Swimming pool

Being Panama a tropical country, the weather is always favorable to enjoy a pool. In the vast majority of buildings and gated communities there are clubs or social areas with swimming pools. The size varies depending on the limitations within the community, however it is common to see 2 swimming pools: one for children, and another for young people and adults.

Gym

Access to a fitness center or gym is one of the most common amenities within communities and buildings. They generally have all the necessary equipment for various types of exercises such as a treadmill, exercise bikes, weights and multifunctional equipment. It is also common in some properties for the gym to have access to a TV.

Playground

To attract family groups, the buildings and gated communities offer children’s parks or playgrounds, which is very beneficial for families with small children, who can enjoy the park without moving outside the home. The sizes of these playgrounds vary and depend on the space available in the community or building.

Sports courts

Sports courts are amenities not seen in every building, however in recent years it is an increasingly popular feature in real estate projects.

Sometimes soccer, basketball or multipurpose courts (for various sports) are offered, in some other buildings and communities there are tennis and/or squash courts.
